    New EGR £587 + VAT?

I took my car for a check over at a local Honda garage in April 2011 - their report said "Clutch, Seized, Replace (Due for check on May 17 2011" it's amazing to think that I'm still driving it some 3 and a bit years later with the same seized clutch that needs replacing. Do I trust them...

Goodyear efficient grips cheap at f1 autocentres

Are they any good? Just checked and they are £57 fitted each for the 15's I've just changed to.

    Just converted to lpg

I'm on LPG, don't worry about the petrol gauge going down but obviously make sure you've always got some petrol in the tank, I have 'run out' numerous times with the car about to die, idling down the road waiting for the LPG to kick in, then it's full throttle to the petrol station! What sort...

    Tyre Pressure / Electric Seat

If you're confused and the tyres look flat just use the highest value there, your tyres will not explode as a result.

    Tyre Pressure / Electric Seat

Have a look at the stickers on your door jamb for tyre pressures. Can't see how you could make the seat go back further.

Tourer rear caliper bind - How can you tell?

Just touch the alloy after a long journey, if it's hot they are binding, if it's mildly warm then everything should be ok.

    2.0L Tourer Exhaust

It's HoldCroft Honda Stoke Dazzle. I can confirm that I have also changed my exhaust recently after a tip off that the price had dropped. Prior to that I had attacked it with every single exhaust repair product in Halfords all at the same time. I have to say, for £141 it is a bargain as it is...

Type S 2.4 lower Dashboard Cubby keeps opening

It's got quite an elaborate mechanism on the side of it. I'd whip it out and see whats happening. It's quite easy to get out, search the forum for xcarlink installation instructions and it will tell you how to get it out. Took mine out the other day, took 4 minutes max.

Extracting power from the 2.0 petrol

The engine maybe but the gearbox certainly isn't. Not impressed by the economy figures in my 2.0 TBH.

How low have you ran your tank?

I keep running out of petrol in mine. My own fault for letting it get so low. I haven't stopped yet though, just very nervous as I tootle along coughing and spluttering until the LPG kicks in then it's WOT to the petrol station pronto.

    Honda Accord 2005 2.0 I-VTEC MPG

Mines higher than that, albeit a manual but even running on LPG (£3 a gallon) its higher than 25.

    Which cylinder is which?

My car decided to be sick yesterday morning, was fine when I parked it up on Saturday. Missing like a ******, not revving properly etc etc engine light flashing. Got it on the scanner which diagnosed a misfire (very handy!) but it did tell me it was in cylinder 3. I've ordered a new coil pack...

    Let there be Bass

Thanks for the interest but it's not really picture worthy. The amp is fairly small and is tucked under the front seat with the rear mat on top, you wouldn't know its there unless you were told. All the wires are hidden under the carpets/side trims and there's hidden speaker wire going to the...

    Let there be Bass

After having all my stereo stuff gathering dust I decided to install my sub last weekend. Should have done it ages ago in hindsight. I've only got the basic CD player headunit and as there are no pre outs I simply spliced the speaker wires near the headunit, fed those to the high level inputs...
