I'd agree, seems expensive to me. Doubt it's had major work done at that mileage either, whats the life of the DMF and Clutch on these? WOuld prefer to have one that had done say 10K more but these two things replaced.

Just pricing up my rear brake overhaul. A kind TA member said he paid £98 from HH for rubber Honda brake hoses. I've just been on the HEL website and braided ones are £35 for the rear or £65 for all 4. Seems like a bargain to me.

So, the grinding noise that I thought was coming from the front wheel was actually from the back wheel and has been getting worse and worse so I did a brake inspection tonight and the pads and disc on the drivers side are knackered. I don't mind changing them myself, that's not the problem...

Hide your key so it's impossible to find. There's loads of good hiding places in a tourer. You could duct tape it to the underneath of the little bits of wood under the side panels in the boot. Would be harder to prove that you had intentions of driving it.

I'm sure Honda would have thought of that already. I don't know where the intercooler is on the CDTI but they don't need cooling, they don't get hot.

You do have to work it to get it shifting. Once your in shifting mode it goes quite nicely as the gear change at high revs drops you in a nice place for the next gear. I don't think mines 'slow' but surprised sometimes at how hard it is to keep up with some other cars. The lack of torque...
