Dave all not lost. You've just broken an electrolytic capacitor off. Anyone with a soldering iron could easily replace this. It costs pennies from maplin. Same goes for LED. If doing it yourself watch the polarity of the new capacitor, it will have a white stripe down the length of the body -...
