Hi I've leaks in the boot too - 2000 W hatch. The tyre well was absolutely swimming - about 6 inches of water sloshing round, probably soaking all the surrounding trim and padding. I've taken one of the rubber bungs out and dried out what I can, but I guess the water will still be getting in...

Do you still have to set the gap on the plugs? My mate reckons the new plugs are nickel construction (?) and don't need gapping...
