They spray hot water and cleaning solution onto a fabric, and then they basically just suck it back up again :) it helps lift out dirt better and they're epic at removing stains.

The guys over on the Prelude forum have always been adamant that a properly tuned H Series motor should make the transition into VTEC smoothly. iirc one of the things advised to help smooth out the crossover is correcting your valve clearances, so this may well be why you noticed a difference :)

The original OBDI H22A from JDM 4th gen Preludes won't fit directly, due to the passenger side engine mount being different. I suspect this is the same for the UKDM H22A2 that was built at the same time. Off the top of my head other incompatibilities from the earlier engines in 4th gen Preludes...
