    Lacking in performance?

Clutch control ;) It's probably not good for your clutch but if you get the bite right and let the clutch out at the right rate then you can launch at crazy RPM's and not spin the wheels. The feeling is great as well when you launch a car properly :D

    Some questions about my accord

I never found the body roll that bad on mine, certainly less noticeable than on the Audi's I have driven! The ride was slightly firmer in the Accord though and I felt bumps where I didn't in the Audi. My Golf has none, they weren't fitted as standard to non GTi mk2 Golfs. The body roll is...

Flexible rear wheel break Pipes for 1983 Honda Accord

I'm reading it as he wants flexible rubber hoses rather than the solid lines? Try eBay for the rubber hoses, although I had custom stainless lines made up for my 3rd gen Accord as it didn't work out much more expensive than rubber hoses ;)

    genuine wind deflectors

Have you got any photos of the clips? I've only fitted them to older Honda's (90's model Preludes) but on those they actually screwed on to the door underneath the rubber seal.

Want to buy F20B6 engine for rebuild

If you fancy an interesting read do look up Honda's motor racing history, they've always had a presence since they started their automotive range in the 60's and a lot of the tech that trickles down into the cars we drive comes from their motor racing heritage. Even in recent history they've...

Want to buy F20B6 engine for rebuild

I think the biggest contributor to the market value is the fact that most of the ones being sold are very long in the tooth in terms of mileage these days and of questionable history... they are a 13-17 year old car now don't forget, the majority are in to 6 figure mileages and probably at the...

How much (on a *** packet) is my car worth

The dealer is always going to dismiss your valuations as part of his sales patter, to make his money he is trying to knock you down on the trade in whilst retaining margin on the car he is selling. Dealers love part exchanges as there is decent money to be made on them if they are bought at the...

Fix up or sell as is?

Yup, the market value has no effect on people going rogue and chucking their car up at whatever value they like, it's just very unlikely they'll achieve their asking price.

Fix up or sell as is?

Run your reg and mileage through CAP, their prices are based on market data (I'm not sure if Parkers are, but CAP and Glasses are the industry standard guides at any rate). I've made a guess at the reg date and spec and it CAP's at £3525-3825, if I had to guess I'd say the lower end is based on...

Fix up or sell as is?

Use CAP for valuations, they're regarded as the market leader for valuations in the trade currently. They offer free mileage adjusted valuations for private sales here. If it was a dealer car it would probably have those bits sorted during the prep, but as Brian says you may not get the money...

    Crazy phantom battery drain ?

A few guys on the Isuzu Trooper forum have fitted solar panels to the roof of their trucks in order to keep the battery conditioned whilst not in use, maybe you guys could do the same :P I'm quite interested in one of those amp hour meters, my Isuzu was slowly draining it's battery over the...

    Have you got tinted windows?

Not an Accord Tourer admittedly, but my Scoob has tints on all the rear windows: I think wagons look really good with the rears tinted B)

Dump Valve in 2.2 Diesel (Blow off valve)

A dump valve won't work in a diesel set up as far as I'm aware?? They don't have a throttle like a petrol engine.

    Brake Bleeding - Mityvac

I use a vizibleed, provided you hook the plastic collar over the rubber tube and nipple then I've not found it to pop off under pressure. I've bled the brakes on my BB4 with it and my 3rd gen Accord with no trouble. You barely need to turn the bleed nipples, just literally crack them enough that...
