    Can anyone identify this part?

ASFAICRIIRCHBIAFTW, the flux capacitor first appeared on the 25th gen facelift (Bosch one was the only one that flew though, she knew how to take off). Anyway, fast forward...

    Can anyone identify this part?

Does anyone know what this is? Its at the back of the engine on the facelift ICTDI, the round 'thing' with a vacuum pipe attached to it? It seems as though it might be connected with the EGR system. I can't locate it on Lings or the Honda EPC. Anyone know anything about it?

Auto folding mirrors, again but different

I've just got back from a long weekend in Amsterdam, so don't ask any difficult questions. I studied electronics years ago and its what I did for a living for a while, I'm sure we are all good at what we've done at work. I'd like to make more headway but without a workshop manual being...

    Still getting brake judder grrrr

And not to overlook the obvious, make sure the mating surfaces of the new discs and hub are absolutely perfectly clean and free from rust (hub). When I replaced all four of mine recently this was quite a time consuming part of the job. I wanted to get the hub spotless and shiny as new to mate...

Auto folding mirrors, again but different

As its being discussed again I thought you might be interested in my work and angle on auto folding mirrors so far, but its not for the fient hearted, and was a project to get my circuit theory back up to scratch as much as anything else. I wanted auto folding but I wanted to be able to...

    Honda locking wheel nuts

The last time I took a wheel off, the Honda locking wheel nuts were so badly rusted I struggled to get the keyed socket on... A couple of minutes later having had a good going over with the wire brush attachment on the drill, and a wiping down with copper grease to give a bit of...

    mpg readout

+1 And think of it this way, if fuelling was just down to throttle position why have an ECU, how would remapping work? Throttle position is part of it, but other factors are taken into account. The amount of fuel injected in either petrol or diesel engines is a complex equation, air temp/engine...

    I hate shopping for tyres!

Can't comment on which is best, both are a good choice, but at BlackCircles the Continentals are from £76 fitted. I've had tyres from them before and seems to be a good discount on notmal prices.

    Sat Nav Disc

That would be really good. I was talking with someone in Switzerland who said the price from a Swiss Honda dealer is CHF150, approx £100 at today's exchange rate. I was going to get a set sent over at that price, unless he was mistaken! Does sound to good to be true, but I'll check again in...

    Sat Nav Disc

That's my plan too, I just sold my Honda v3.40 DVD set so I could get the best price whilst they were still the latest and current disks.

    Sat Nav Disc

Just for the record, v3.40 is a two disk set, West and East, and not one disk for all Europe, if that was what you meant. So you have just one disk of the 2 disk set.

08 Accord - HFT password reset?

I seem to remember on mine the first command is 'system' to enter the 'setup' or 'clear' functions. The other function though that might be of more help is 'security' from there i think you can reset and enter a new password.

I-CTDI Performance Filter for your Accord Diesel

Agreed, not expecting any power gain or loss, a reusable filter that is as good as the original is all we should be expecting.

I-CTDI Performance Filter for your Accord Diesel

A review is essential. There has been some work on this topic over on Civinfo regarding Induction testing, which should make good reading for those of us interested, along with more reading and a review, of something not quite up top scratch, but just to get an idea what we are up against.

    XCarlink Usage Questions

I've got this version, and I think at the moment I'm up to about 20 CDs. I have a strong suspicion the virtual CD limit will be 99. But for now every so often I add another one and it's fine, as its got up to 20 or so I see no reason why it wouldn't go to 99, (just putting a 2 digit limit on...
