    Windscreen trim

I've had that issue with mine on the 6th gen. Might be worth ringing your insurer and see if you got any windscreen cover and if it applies to this (OFC make sure it doesn't affect your NCD, it usually doesn't but it's worth asking).

Corrosion ? - buying tourer seen really bad surface rust on one

Yes it's a 6th gen but really the manufacturing standards should be just as good, infact I think the 7's are a bit better to be honest. But taking in what others have said about their 7 gen's, i'd keep looking if you can do without a set of wheels for a little while. Better yet, open your...

Corrosion ? - buying tourer seen really bad surface rust on one

"Rust was a problem on the Accord"? Sounds like grade-a B.S. to me! My 2001 has spent most of it's life in a verge and equally salty Norfolk roads and that has next to no rust on it at all. Only place it has some surface rust is the roof because some previous fool placed their keys on it. Hell...

    Machine polisher recommendations?

    That's the one.

My Accord is no more :-(

Sad but cambents are something you NEVER want to skimp on. Getting the car cheap is rarely a good excuse in my books but alas it is upto the owner. May I ask what happened to it? The fact you mentioned this makes me wonder is all...

    Machine polisher recommendations?

DON'T CONTINUE USING IT IF THAT HAPPENS! If the machine vibrates that you get that described 'tingling' that means you are esentially damaging the nerve ending in your hands. You are supposed to wear gloves to dull the vibration, so I'd STRONGLY recommend buying a set of anti-vibration gloves if...

    Anti theft system

IIRC they are coded though as TheHole said, it's rare to see someone steal a factory radio bespoke for that car. Most smash into cars to steal generic radios to sell them on to Pawnbrokers or in semi-rare cases, keep for their own use. Since the Accord unit will only fit an Accord (of your...

    Flip key conversion

I referb'd my 6th gen fob last year, sadly I didn't see a flip-key conversion for it but none-the less, it doesn't half make a difference once it's done! Nice work.

    MOT advisories?

Pretty minor stuff, the components should be pretty cheap as but labour is likely to be several times more. I think I got the 3rd advisory on my Accord before IIRC. Seems to be a common issue.

    Not happy with the brakes

You could try braded brake lines, this will eliminate any possible flex when pressure is flowing through the lines. Shouldn't be too expensive but set aside a few quid if you arn't going to DIY.

    Pulsing noise/catching brakes

If that doesn't work, it would seem to me that there is something with the drive shaft(s). Certainly something to do with a drivetrain. That's if all aspects of the brakes have been exhausted OFC.

    Fuel consumption

Other than just changing the way you drive? Not really. TBH you will be lucky to get much above 30MPG from what I can gather. The best I could just about manage to do is 35MPG and that's if I drive like an undertaker. You can try shedding as much un-nessasary weight as possible, check your tyre...

    front fog lights

I'm an idiot, I was meant to link you to a thread I made about it. Sorry! Here: http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/15809-dismantling-parts-whats-involved/ IDk if it will be of any help but it might give you some ideas to go about it. Good luck and as I said' i'd be very interested in how you...

    front fog lights

This old chestnut. Well the easy way would be to make your own relay system with a switch but OFC it won't be OEM... I made a thread about upgrading my 'S' (even more spartan than yours!) and concerntrating on some front fogs. From what I can tell it's not certain if anyone knows if the wiring...

2002 1.8 vtec hesitation at low revs

Hi Mark. Super buy on that Accord, I wish I found a Sport for that when I bought mine in the Norwich area! Anyway, have you looked at the plugs? Have you gotten an "Check Engine" light on? Also have you checked the air filter and made sure it's all fitting correctly? Sounds like you got a sound...

    Bumper paint

Your best best is masking off the area with masking tape and newspaper and keying the serface ('til smooth) then 2-3 coats of primer and ~ 3 coats of whatever colour your car is. You could take it to a specialist but it will probably cost over £100 - £200 a bumper.

    brakes: EBC BSD Blades ?

If it's that bad as you describe then you can't go wrong with EBC's. Keep us posted how you get on anyway. If you can afford yellows go for them but for an Accord, I should think greens should be more than enough personally.

    Restoring ATR Calipers/Discs

You could probably restore them but really you'd need a rather large lathe and that's not something alot of people have in their sheds. :P

    brakes: EBC BSD Blades ?

There was a discussion about this earlier here: http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/17236-brake-upgrades/ As I mentioned there, if you go with the drilled/crossed disc route, expect to replace pads alot more often. Stopping power is always good but you have to ask yourself does a FWD saloon...

    Accord Type R Seats

Hi Dan, IIRC they are straight swaps as all the bodys (and thus mounts) are identical. They should be anyway but don't back me up on that.
