Towing limit of (Tourer) is 1500kgs. I have taken 2 people, about 12 spare wheels, tools etc, a 375 kg trailer, with an MR2 track car on it, to several track days. Obviously you can feel the weight, but other than wheelspin from stationery, I had no dramas. Sat at 60 and all is well.

On a similar note, I have just wrapped the chromed strips on my grille, in a carbon fibre look vinyl. Quite straight forward job, the three chromed strips, (does that make my car a facelift?) and the H, can all be removed from the grille. Then you just need the vinyl, £4 off ebay, a heat gun...

I just changed from 16s to 17s today (205 to 225 width), with a new set of Coopers. No increase in road noise to report, I had pairs of Michelin and Kumho previously. Definately fit new tyres on the front, as they will be perfectly even, then you should get optimum noise reduction.

So do they all have voice command, as I never found it on mine? ( sat nav, 6cd model, 2007) Still haven`t figured out the bluetooth either.

Thanks Steve. Was quite straight forward. For anyone else that does it, just make sure you drape an old blanket across the roof (as I did) for when the spoiler pops off. Anyway, I used number plate double sided tape, (it is taped at each side), and spoiler is now very secure, just going to...

Hi all. Have had a tedious little knocking noise from the rear of my Tourer for some time now. Anyway today I was polishing the car, and notice the tailgate spoiler is loose and could be the mystery rattle. Not sure how to remove / re-secure it, has anyone here done this? Cheers
