Judder/vibration thoughout the car possible dua lmass flywheel problem?

One other thing I'd change the box oil for the proper Honda stuff and then for peace of mind you'll know its got the right stuff in and the right amount as if they've had shaft out it will have lost some oil and you can't be sure they will have put the right stuff back in.

It was a silver 08 tourer but it was a sport gt so it wasn't yours. I ***ume you've not had to pay anything towards these repairs?

Judder/vibration thoughout the car possible dua lmass flywheel problem?

Did you take it back to who you bought it from then for the work to be done? I'd be making a phone call to the MD or someone important and asking many questions and telling them that your hubby is mechanicly minded etc and has checked the car out and you dont think the work has been done. Has...

    window close mod

Sounds good I emailed the people in the states and all that box of theirs does is simulate the key being held in the correct position to activate the total closure.

What we need to find out is what the KP Tech module does is it just mimicking the holding the key in a certain position for a set time which activates the window closure on the tsx or is it actually closing the windows itself, maybe an email to KP Tech is needed?

Easy way of removing Aux Belt?

Yeah I did that before getting a tool made, getting the belt off is easy, I found its getting it back on that's hardest. I'd ring Holdcroft and mention typeaccord and see what price they come up with I know they are a lot cheaper than using my local dealer with the TA discount plus free next day...

Easy way of removing Aux Belt?

Get a price for just replacing the alternator pulley (price from Honda and then price for fitting by the alternator bloke unless you wanna do it yourself as per the diy on here) then price up recon & new alternator and go from there.

Easy way of removing Aux Belt?

Interesting as if there is not sufficient pressure in the a/c system then the clutch on the a/c compressor won't kick in so as far as I know it won't put any extra load on the belt, unless of course there is just enough gas in there. Your right its never easy mate, make sure you get a good look...

Easy way of removing Aux Belt?

As far as I am aware you need to replace the pulley as that has the clutch in it. It is just simply getting a spanner on the bolt that holds the tensioner pulley on and pulling it towards you that releases the tension and you can remove the belt. However its getting in with something, look at...

Easy way of removing Aux Belt?

I used a swan neck spanner and a piece of tube over it to get the leverage (until I got a proper tool made to do the job). Its too tight to get in with a socket and breaker bar unless you take the engine mount off which is a pain! I think you'll have to remove the alternator and take it to the...

Difficult to change down through the gears

I just undid bleed nipple and let it gravity feed through till new fluid flowed into the bleeding kit container, needed someone to operate the peddle though once I had fresh fluid coming thru. Its the same as bleeding the brakes mate.
