    Hydra blade

I use one to shift the surface water but then again the cars paintworks got enough marks on it already, however if it was a brand new car or fresh paint I probably wouldnt bother and just use my autoglym chamois thing which i use to finish drying the car off.

    tourer rear brake shenanigans!

Dan I had same problem, just used more persuasion with the extractor nuts doing each one evenly, wind them in a bit then out a bit then in a bit a few times I did also hit it a few times with the hammer when it was doing my head in. The new discs went on no problem.

DIY - Brake discs and pads change 03+ (updated)

I didn't touch mine, did struggle to get the discs off tho ended up using 2 bolts in the 2 holes of the disc as you wind them in it pushes the disc off the hub.

Would you do this to your engine bay?

Autoglym vinyl and rubber care is pretty good to spray onto a wet engine my mate was a valeter used to use it all the time after washing engines off think it shifted water too just left it to dry naturally.

    Oil Leak

I too have a leak from the same area seems to be dripping off the main large black plastic air tube that goes into the turbo but from what I can tell its leaking from above that. Needs more investigation however my car doesnt really use any oil so its a slight leak really but still wants fixing.

Must be service your graphite tourer day then lol as I've just done oil and filter this morning! Found a great container for draining into as well a 10L adblue container works great and the flexible spout is handy for transferring it into my 25L waste oil drum and best of all it was free!

    Fuel filter change

One thing I found is once you've removed the filter and its housing unscrewing the filter from the housing is a pain without a vice (I did have a filter wrench). I couldnt budge mine and ended up popping to a local garage and he stuck it in his vice and with the filter wrench it was off in seconds.

Before and after detailing, graphite pearl tourer

The AG Super Resin polish works well too but the Ultra Deep Gloss does hide swirl marks and light scratches very well although it is harder to rub off than Super Resin.

My diesel sounds like a diesel!

Is it an intermittent clanking sound on idle? Mine did that and I thought it was a normal diesel knocking sound till my mate heard it and said "**** me that alternator clutch is shafted" Not saying it will be that but after changing the oil if it still does it it could be that.

Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror Kit

According to the fitting guides that come with the kits there is a plug already in the roof for it to plug into, if not its not going to be that hard to get wires to it, most it'll have is 3 wires +'ve, -'ve and a feed from the lights.
