    Red Battery Light

Personally I wouldnt buy a 2nd hand one I'd buy a reconditioned one from a reputable car parts supplier/motor factors place as they will be cheaper than buying a brand new one (although get a price on both from a car parts/motor factors place).

    Air Con/Radiator Fans

Just to add a bit more confusion, since the weather has got hotter and mainly in traffic when the a/c fan cuts in the radiator cooling fan has also been kicking in at the same time on mine. Its actually considerably louder when both fans are going and I could hear it over the radio. As soon as I...

In mine the headrest flips down when you pull the lever and then as you fold the back of the seat the base lifts up it is quite clunky tho.

    window close mod

Not sure to be honest looking at the wiring diagram the unit gets its signal from the remote/2nd lock feed and as each window motor close wire is connected to the unit it then sends a timed feed to each motor.

    window close mod

You should be able to wire it all into the drivers door as all the wires are already there. Is the jumper set right to give the right output ie +'ve or -'ve? It's strange its not working should really be straight forward.

    No low beams!

Could be a faulty light switch too but I'd say thats highly unlikely more likely a bad connection somewhere.

Have you got a multimeter? Or a test light? check for power at the connector that goes onto the bulb.

    Aux Drive Belt Diesel

I don't think there is a service interval on them, have a look at the belt and see if its cracking on the grooved part. I think there is another tell tale sign cj will be able to let you know.
