Hi I think the offset is correct (55), unless an 8th gen owner can confirm otherwise. The only Issue you may have is tyre sizes, I believe there different on the 8th gen.

If the revs have changed at idle it sounds like the timing maybe out due to chain stretch, get it sorted pronto!

You could also simply remove the gigantic sound deadening resonator box inside the wheel well then fit a performance panel filter to the standard box. You'll get your noise minus the heat soak

I love those trueno's, they go for silly money these days probably as you say down to the rarity.

Also worth doing the short belt modification whilst the alternator is off. Puts much less strain on the alternator and gains 50bhp! (Joke sorry). But seriously get the shortened belt and remove the unwanted pulley. It's well documented on here....
