Which is the best way of doing this take the pipe that runs to the heater off again and pump. Or leave it on and just pump? Iv also read the pressure relief valve can sometimes be at fault can i give this a clean.

I had my power steerin pump and pipe off yesterday when replacing the chain. Since putting it all back togther I topped it up with a small amount of fluid to then find it need specific oil. The pump not whines with engine revs. Now is this down to the small top up or air in the system. Thanks.

Have you checked for oil leaks ect and did they check the level after driving it ?? in which case it wouldn't be on full as its all round the engine, I wouldn't worry to be honest not many diesel out there that dont smoke abit lol

I would say iF they serviced it before they handed it over to you they most probably didnt use a genuine bosch filter. To be honest when I brought my tourer I brought a non genuine filter but since reading the fAults they cause I never fitted it and will be sourcin a genuine one. Hope you get...
