    I think you need to check your earths are good then. check: battery to chassis engine to chassis alternator to chassis. any of those 3 especially the last could be your culprit. poor earths are commonly missed with everyone looking at power in... when they should observe the return path

    140kmh?? really ;) if the bonnet is moving... open the bonnet ( when stationary) ! and look at either corner on the front just by the headlights and there should be some rubber stoppers. unscrew them a turn so they raise slightly. shut bonnet and press down on either side of the bonnet...

    I did my wifes car... what I did was wet sand using: 240 400 800 1200 1500 2000 once that was all done I used some megs scratch x on a rotary buffer and used speed 1 to 3 to use to finish off the headlights. I will put some pictures up tomorrow of the results. once that was done I

    if you do plan on doing the suspension. . you may as well go for the group buy coilovers.. they will offer lower ride but stiffer suspension..

    regulator does sound dodgy... surely the place your getting the alternators from has a warranty?

    if you have a hydraulic jack.. then use the center jacking point front and rear to raise up thrn use the jacking points. more often than not I place my axle stands under a 'chassis mounting point' like the sub frame or location where the lower wishbone is attached to the car. more that strong...

    yokos are great in the dry, blooming scarey in the wet! really dont rate them other than a 'summer tyre'. so if you planning to use this wheel / tyre combo through the winter months I would advise going the 914 route. I had the ZE912's and found them to be a very capable tyre for the money...

    rain also contains contamination. . so you could be rubbing more dirt in to the paint
