hi jayne, lovely motor, as steve says don't worry about the hoses but maybe think about a complete fluid change and getting the brake slider pins greased because they might be dry. has that front wheel got a directional tread & if so is it on right?

just the normal stuff eg if oil changes have been missed its bad news for the engine check the oil on the end of the dipstick plenty about so if youre not happy walk away and buy a different one

mine is the same, if it works enjoy it, no point looking for things to worry about

have a look on autotrader but i think that would go for more like 10 grand

if I had a diesel no way would i start it with petrol in the tank, if you realise before you start it up you are dead lucky so be grateful and get it drained, starting it anyway is crazy

sometimes you need liquid gasket in certain places to stop leaks

usually 10w40 is part synthetic and much cheaper than you are thinking of paying , full synthetic 10w40 is racing oil you don't need in your car, so either buy cheapre oil and do it yourself or just go to honda
