My SE Exec has got the wheels off my old rover 623 on it.

DId mine today £40 and twenty minutes and it is SO NICE :rolleyes: and yes it does slow the car down you get nowt for nowt!

Sorted --- in the hand book it says hold clock button and press 1 for hours and 2 for minutes. Tried that and failed so tried every other button, turns out its 5 and 6.

Got it up and running and am probably going down the xcarlink route but have another small query. According to my handbook, if I press the clock button on the Bose radio whilst also pressing the 1 and 2 buttons the time should adjust . Nothing seems to happen? what am i missing here?

Found an xcarlink SKU424 on tinternet so I think I understand what that is now. :huh: had a look where it might plug in and there is already a 8mm white cable coming from the back leading under the armrest. Will that be the changer cable and should it come out in the boot, and if so which side...

An ordinary changer might give me the variety that I need. How would an alpine mp3 changer work? I am no electronic wizard. will check in the for sale section.

I am going to reinstall the original Bose item and have been reading the handbook but cannot work out if the cd player will play computer made MP3 style cd's. Anyone got one fitted and know the answer?

Then I suspect the 2.3 was the same engine that they put in the Rover 623 Gsi

so there was a 2ltr and a 2.3? But the 2.3 was unique to V type?

Found a set of four but priced at £84 which is more than I had hoped to pay. Will keep looking!

Hi I want to install a pair of driving lights below or on the front bumper. Where is an easy power pickup which only comes on with ignition? , had them on a switch on a previous car and forgot to turn them off a coup[le of times leaving battery low.

No I did the primary first and then the secondary played up 2 weeks later.

Seems that the secondary sensor does not enjoy working with the new primary one. It has gone into sulk mode so has had to be replaced. I am told this is quite a common occurrance!

Now really p1553d off. After spending a fortune on a genuine part and after only 320 miles the light is on again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
