Now I feel like a right idiot, RAC came out and checked the fuses that my mate didn't check (I thought he had checked them all) replaced an blown one to do with the ignition and now the car is all good again.

Tried all of this but got nowhere so have just called the rac and will probably get it taken to my local honda.

Did try this, a friend at work suggested setting the alarm, leave the window open and set the alarm off that way the alarm system has done something so may reset it self. it worked with her proton so i might try this in the morning.

I did find the thread on reseting the key fob but that seems to only sort the locks not the immobilizer, I've just put the battery on charge and will refit it to the car in the morning just incase it didn't have enough power and to hopefully reset the whole thing but its now appearing I may have...

I would imagine that as long as you swap manaul adjusting seats for other manual adjusting seats it would be easy other wise a small bit of wiring will be required, not sure about using seats from any Honda...

I've done it in a few cars and never had an issues, as you say they are both the same grade so should be ok. If it had gone in for a service you don't normaly know what brand oil they use and would be happy to use a different branded one as a top up

I've seen a few people on here saying remove the washer fill tube by removing the bolt but mine just slides to right and comes out without removing the bolt, is mine the only one that seems to do this?

That would sound about right, if there was room for gas to escape around the plug then you will have less pressure pushing the piston back down again, so a mix of new and properly tightend plugs will most deffrently increase performance and give better mpg.

See WD40 does fix everything :lol:
