BC Racing Coilovers for a 2.4 type S

Ive had my BC's on for about 2 years now and i've covered 20k. Cant fault them in the slightest B) Depending on how low you go you'll most likely need camber arms. Why not just get them anyway and once its setup and settled you can get a spot on alignment done properly.

    Bought one today!

Good job buddy, you got one in a cracking colour too. You're right about setting about to de-chrome the window trim, it makes such a difference. B) Have fun with it buddy, sneak a short ram intake under the bonnet so you can hear the i-vtec sing too

    Improving performance on the 2.0?

The K20A6 is an economy spec engine, not much you can do with it other than bolt ons. Still an intake and exhaust can make is sound awesome B)

    K24/k20?

There are a few k24 hybrid ep3's up here and it works out to be a really good compromise between power and economy especially in the lighter ep3 chassis. 240bhp and near 200lbft is achievable with just bolt ons and a good map. I know the icetronix guys in ireland have made 300bhp NA k24 builds...

Burning Smell from under the car...

could be a carrier bag melted to the exhaust, you'll need to really get under there and look to make sure as it'll keep burning away and smelling something awful. Thats my guess anyhoo

    jerkiness in low gear

I was the same when i first bought my type s too as it was my first ever car with a drive by wire throttle so at every junction unintentionally i was setting off kangarooing and getting lots of weird looks, lol. Took a week or so to get used to it, but i still miss a regular cable throttle

    Accord type s 2.4

Depends what side of ireland you're in. If you're paying £ then the road tax will be average, but i know of a guy from the republic who pays almost 900 euros for a years road tax on his 2.4 type s! Thats the main factor i'd be looking at first, could be a clue as to why its cheap, if its in the...

Is the 2.4 expensive to run?

Mine is still fine so far. I burnt the ***** out of it in winter 2010 coz i got stuck in the snow but decided to see if it would die on track in april 2011 but it was fine as the long gearing meant i wasnt changing gear as much. Its possible to do a whole lap of knockhill in 3rd gear, you only...

Considering 150k 03 Type-S Tourer. What to look out for?

Its the front compliance bush that jav's on about, they're really big and sit at the front of the lower control arms. My car failed mot at 70k miles due to these so it'd be a big bargaining point if these had to be done on a car thats almost double the mileage, so its vital to check the...

Is the 2.4 expensive to run?

    wheel refurb

I'd be inclined to maybe try going lighter. The later shade of pentas were actually kaiser silver metallic. While the name might be silver they are a really nice light grey. Plus you get extra kudos points as its actually an NSX colour. Failing that i think Honda Athlete Grey is pretty dark, not...

about other Spoon Sports parts for Accord CL7/CL9

From that description instead of being actual mounts they're inserts that will slot into gaps in the original rubber mounts to stiffen them up. The same princple as engine mount inserts except these look like aluminium opposed to the silicone inserts for engine mounts The descriptions are...

    Custom Gear Ratio Calculator

I've been using this to make up some custom gear ratio sets seeing how each one would compare to our K24's. Ive not yet decided on what route im gonna take as of yet but i thought i'd add the link as i know a few others are thinking of changing the gearbox, or even the final gear ratio at least...
