    Dropped the bumper today and fitted HID dipped beam in off side and that was fine, did the nearside and nothing!! swapped ballast over and that is the culprit. Put it back together with old bulb in nearside and xenon in off side so dim and bright dipped beam at the moment. Battery went flat...

    Humming /bussing noise from the front!

    It is your O/S front wheel bearing by the sound of it. As you go round a right hand bend the pressure is taken off the off side so bearing goes quiet ;)

    If going for molykote 55 on e-bay it costs £7 - 50 for 100g with postage,see tourer owners link. If you use univars it costs £45 - 36 with postage, your choice :D

    Just had a look at some discussions by our friends over at tsx and seems some like HIDs for reversing and some go for LEDs! just a thought, would HIDs not be a tad bright for any body behind you ?

    So that's a facelift and a pre-facelift that are good to steer ! that should mean that there is nothing wrong with the 7 gen in particular and probably just tyre fussy and also need good alignment .
