2005 accord will not start without priming bulb under bonnet

At the end of the day, Honda sourced the part in the first place and decided to install dodgy German components in them! Hope it sorts it mate

    DAB Radio

From what I understand there is a USB port on the 8th gen.... or is it just an option?

    DAB Radio

According to the old Labour government, ****og radio transmitters will be turned off in 2015. If that is the case you will need DAB to listen to radio. If that does happen it will really Suck and mean millions having to do something with their radio :D

    jerking

I borrowed it off a mate, it has some software and can read live data, but its a case of understaning it all. It also has the facility to log data, but I am not sure what I am doing, thats why it will probably end up being a trip to HH in the new year. Well I say borrowed, he doenst need it...

    jerking

Yes, thats waht I was talking about Carl. I have ran through Nuno's cleaning advice which hasnt made any difference  Yes, from what I have read, I believe that you are right. I do now have a code reader and some software, but cant say that I have managed to configure it all yet, but my...

    jerking

It does have a throttle position sensor though which is mentioned above, but I doubt it is that as my foot isnt moving a milimeter when it jerks. But once I have saved a few pennies after Christmas, mine will be off to HH to see what they can do!

    Heated seats

Mine are reasonable but take about 5 mins or so to get warm. If you want it warm, always start with the Hi setting, then switch to Low once warm. From what I understand, the drivers seat should heat lower (bum area) and back. Passenger seat is only Lower (bum area)

    jerking

Changed mine, still does it  Since the new manifold mine does seem to smoke a little less, but I would still say that it is excessive. Looks like the next step is back to standard and then a trip to HH in the new year. This damn jerking, smoking and poor mpg is killing me now

What sort of mpg do you all get on your diesels?

Last 10 tanks of fuel calculated, not using the trip as that usually says 50+ This is all sensible driving, probably 70% motorway in 6th gear Starting with most recent mpg: 36.3 36.6 34.8 37.4 36.9 38.4 41.0 42.5 41.2 40.5 Not the best to say the least

What sort of mpg do you all get on your diesels?

37mpg out my last tank... that is calculated and no spirited driving, cracked manifold, jerking a bit 430miles when the light came on :) mostly trips between 30-60 miles.

    Exhaust fumes/smell in cabin I-CTDI

Still driving normally Carl. I havent changed my driving style at all. I suppose that the cold isnt helping or the minifold. If this doesnt sort it out, I will be going back to a stock map to see if that helps! And yes, its pretty bad in the cabin if you get stuck in traffic. I have to...

    Exhaust fumes/smell in cabin I-CTDI

Good news Ed, Mine goes in on Monday so fingers crossed. The jerkiness seems really bad as well at the moment and even after the replacement of the frequency solenoid valve mine still smokes like the clappers. Lets hope that the Manifold and injector calibration sorts it all out. Only 35MPG on...

P2004 - IMRC Intake Manifold Runner Control problems

We will see CJ ;) As mine didnt show up any faults at the HH meet apart from the manifold. I have it booked in for the 22nd for manifold and injector recalibration, but if its still not fixed, it looks like I will have to test their skills again.... following Faddy putting it back to standard...

Clutch & DMF replaced (7th Gen)

Well if its just the clutch £585 all in including fitting, as its under Honda Happiness. If it is the flywheel, it seems to vary slightly between dealers, but I am sure it was mentioned in this thread somewhere
