Hi Andy, the only issue I have found with the aftermarket ones are that they dont sit as low as the genuine Honda ones because of the type of bracket/clip they use. They are as effective... well some are, but mine now creates more wind noise as they sit higher, therefore I am going to go back to...

If it is a facelift, i would personnaly just use the genuine honda ones which are alot better than aftermarket ones. They are the sleek aero flat blades from honda and because of the clip they use the arm doesnt sit up high like the retro fit aftermarket ones. Also Honda do them for £25 under...

Shabz, Fahad said he used a hoover and then rotated the hub to check. Sounds as gooder way as any to me. Good Luck

Yep and the fault light went out as you would have started the car more than 3 times 30 seconds apart, if it doesnt register the fault again then the light goes out till the next fault. FUEL FILTER! :ph34r:

if its a facelift model I would prob be prepared to sell my one i took off as I dont think there was anything wrong with it seeing as a new one made no difference. but wait for the diagnosis first. Hopefully at the HH meet in oct I will be able to shed some more light

Waj, did you check if it seals when closed. I WOULDNT replace it. I wasted money on a brand new one for mine and it made NO difference. Personally I think or should I say hope it is either a software issue with the ECU......or another fault elsewhere. :rolleyes:

well if enough people have changed it with no probs and not paid attention to which way round, I would say it probably doesnt matter!

Thanks guys, might buy a second hand key and a flip key off ebay then and try an auto locksmith nearby to see if he can cut and reprogram :lol:

Hi Rron, Welcome along. I would probably agree with Azz, Fuel Filter needs replacing every 25K miles and it needs to be genuine Hona part.

Yeah, that lings diagram doesnt really illustrate the bolt and you have to get a spanner in there or socket, its a bit fiddly but fairly simple. I dont think you need the engine running, just keep priming the bulb above the filter till it gets rock solid, run the car for a minute and then pump...
