Yeah, Fahad is right, it was there pre remap, it just shows up a little more now beacuse of the extra power. At the moment, I am trying to work out if its worse when its cold, as I think it is. Going to order some of that BG244 and see if that helps! Here is crossing fingers.

More than likely! although on the pre-facelift it doesnt have a computer so they must be calculating theirs.

Mine is generally there hot and cold Brett and the Genuine FF didnt seem to make a difference :o It is becomming a real pain now. I just hope that I can make some progress on it pretty soon as when I have people in the car it seems as I incompitent at driving as it kangaroos down the road!

Hmm... I know there are a few changes like the EGR and the gearbox... but wasnt aware of signifficant changes! Well it mainly seems to be facelift ones that smoke the worst and that are reporting most of the hessitation / jerkyness, so maybe they didnt make it quite as well :0

Just a quick question (and it maybe stupid) these fuel addatives go through the injectors right? and this helps clean injectors and valves... but how is is supposed to help the carbon build up from the egr as surely most of the cleaning fluid is burnt off in combustion? I maybe wong but just a...

On my trip round the UK last week (well the north) after 250 miles my computer was saying 65.2mpg on that tank. It is currently displaying about 59mpg. will fill up tonight and use my iphone app to calculate the actual MPG and report back :D

Great write up Faddy and I can vouch for Holdcrofts work. They did my clutch and did a great job and great service.

My Trip says around between 48-50mpg quite often, but using an iphone app to calculate it, this says I am usually averaging about 38.
