It will probably be better if you could post a video of some sorts. Just post it to youtube or something similar and then post the link to it here using either the button or the on the tool bar near the

    HELP

Would be helpful if you could give us the code as to say it is the EGR valve is a bit of a blanket statement to be honest. Do you have a service history for the car and as such when was the air filter last changed ?

Fuel Economy Drop Since Manifold Replaced

In total is your trip around 2 1/2 miles if so with that sort of mileage a diesel wouldn't work out any more economical than a petrol as the engine won't have reached operating temperature. Another problem you seem to have (not your fault but road planning) is that you have constant...

Fuel Economy Drop Since Manifold Replaced

What sort of driving do you call town driving. I.e is it lots of stop starts, waiting around etc or is it constant steady motoring with just plenty of traffic lights, but you manage to get through them on each turn ? How have you calculated the 31 mpg and do you always fill up at the same...

Maybe try ringing a few breakers that specialise in Japanese cars. Or alternatively, search ebay for someone breaking an Accord (generally a scrap yard) The part is very pricey brand new, so you would otherwise be best just getting a separate hands free kit

Is the 2.4 expensive to run?

Depends on the price and how it drives. Mileage really doesn't come into it until a lot later for a Honda petrol, if those miles are mainly motorway, it should be fine. The only thing to do really is test drive a few and compare the differences, maybe take Keef up on his generous offer for...

    Same error again.. and again

Sorry to hear of your back condition, hope all gets sorted soon. In respect of the eml, just to confirm is it the same code and what code is it ? It could affect fuel consumption and power, but the most obvious effect is the MOT it will fail, just because the light is on. Whilst you could...

    Engine dies when warm

Well at least it should rule out a confused ECU, it was a bit of a long shot, but worth ruling out all the same. Hopefully the SH fuel rail will solve the problem, it does look the most likely in all honesty and has been your gut feeling for a while.

    Noise coming from sunroof

Sorry couldn't really hear anything unusual from the vid, ( I genuinely cannot hear certain sound levels) however is it more like a wind noise or a tapping. Something that might be worth a try is if you haven't already done so. When you get a good day, fully open the sunroof and clean the...

    Flashing glow plugs

Give HH a ring, As Brett has mention it is probably the fuel filter, however you have just had the timing chain done so worth just letting them know. It also depends on whether they needed to disconnect the fuel lines and whether there is still a bit of air in the system when doing the...

    Butterfly Flap and EGR

As in a previous post you have mentioned that the IMRC solenoid replacement has improved the drive-ability of the car significantly, which personally I would say that is proof enough that the IMRC valve is now operating correctly. The purpose of the IMRC is more for running at lower revs...
