OK, I sprayed the hose over the car for a few minutes but stopped as soon as I saw water dripping down on to the rear seats again. :( Closer inspection showed that the water doesn't seem to be coming in via the rear sunroof drains so I'm tentatively hoping that my fix in that area has worked...
