Hi all, I have a 2.0 Exec Auto, 2001, about 75000 miles. I am getting frustrated with the steering of the car..and would appreciate some feedback from owners with the same vehicle. this is what mine is like to drive...going down the M6 ( I commute daily ) car wanders and I am forever...

Thank's for looking.. yes there are two hidden bulbs, you remove the dash etc, remove the radio/climate unit then remove the climate unit from the cradle and prise the back off and underneath are a couple of bulbs that illu' the front, the other bulbs must be for the buttons....sorted now.. :(

Hi all.. very short & easy one, now the winter lights have started I have noticed that the right hand side of the air con/climate display doesn't illuminate. its the display that gives the mode/air con on or off/fan speed then temperature you have set and the right hand section as I say...

Update.. I have taken a feed from the speakers connection (from head unit) and fed into the relevant pins on the connector from the equaliser (front passenger seat). tried to use the RCA outputs from rear HU but apparantly they are not the right signal for the Bose. it does now use the...

hit the nail on the head there, I spent weeks driving around watching the revs, no a/c etc trying to eek out a mile per gallon extra, just "drive it like I stole it" now, much more fun.. wish I could uprate suspension a bit though.. :D

I think the Bose speakers are very good, I have an old alpine unit from an Evo 4 or 5 or .. oh whatever.. I have however been trying to reconnect the amp & woofer/tweeters but proving to be a headache..I will let you know if I get there.. :rolleyes:

Hey guy's..newbie to this forum :rolleyes: been running my 2.0 exec auto since about June this year and yep only average 27/28 mpg!!..bought the car as what a great package but didn't realise the fuel economy :lol: and I do 50 miles per day!! not in a position to change as all the diesels...
