It a 2008 CTDI 2.2 yes, was always under the impression that was the CL7? It's a saloon aswell. Do i need any clips for the pads to glide along or do they just slide on the caliper itself? Thanks for all the help on this guys., still cant understand the purpose of the springs though ha! Cheers

Unfortunately not, looks like previous owner may have cut the springs off which makes me think they're not the right ones

Just to update, i managed to fit a double din in there, but the sat nav unit is no longer accessible. Took a lot of modifying tbh but does look good now it's all done

Sorry i should have said, it is a saloon. I think my problem my be that the dimple isn't sitting in the piston after closer inspection! I think the springs don't actually touch the inside of the caliper, so i can't understand why they're there to begin with. Thanks for the response

I looked at it, decided it was too much work and instead I modified the carbon look fascia and fitted a short single din (no CD player) underneath the DVD player. Hope that helps!
