So my rear side boot window smashed today! Is it easy to replace with another or should I go through my insurance?!

Hi guys. So I needed to figure out why my cd player wasn't working. Hasn't since I've owned car. Decided over the weekend to get in and have a look, it appears the ribbon linking the stereo to interface has a slit in.... I don't suppose anyone on here has a broken stereo laying about?
