swervin suggest a quick trawl of the google search with "xcarlink" install . in short it sounds daft but a plastic fishslice as outlined in the civicinfo guide is pretty good at this. you jam it in just above the vents and it pops up fine - once popped you pull towards you.

replaced the driver side drive shaft on saturday as that had the play it and its not sorted it. After speaking to garage i'm going to leave it a couple of months and see if the problem develops as i am guessing its passenger related as having read the posts thats the most obvious cause....
