    as well as getting the pressures right, you might want to check that they swapped the tyresa round correctly - are they still pointing the right way (most tyres have an arrow on them idicating direction of rotation).

    The Diesel takes a good 10 minutes to warm up and it only reaches it's optimum efficiency at this temp, so if you are low milage you'll never get the best from it. Go for the petrol M

    I would check your tyre pressures - If they are too high it will reduce the contact area and stiffen the tyre reducing the resistance with the road. M

    You may want to switch it off on snow or ice - depends on how the car is behaving.

    When you press the VSA button, you are turning it off. The orange triangle is warning you of this. If it disappears when you press it again, the system appears to be functioning properly. If the VSA is faulty, the orange light stays on no matter how may times you press the button.

    modern engines are designed to inject no fuel when not under load (i.e. slowing down). If you pop it in to neutral, the engine will idle - using fuel. I'm fairly sure wear and tear is minimal as they are designed to do this. M

    When you press the VSA button you are turning the VSA off. The light comes on to warn you of this. M
