On the way back from work went to give it a boot full in 4th and the rev counter got all excited but didn't tell the speedo, this coincides with a weird bumpy sensation when cruising at very light throttle. I'm guessing it's going to be a phone call to Cg motorsport to get rid of Hondas rubbish...

I'm sure some members have the clutch and dmf fitted i've seen one mention of the job lot being 950 all in at their workshop in leeds however i'd rather have it fitted closer to home if possible, can anyone share their experiences?

My car has just recently developed a noise from the transmission, which sounds a lot like the noisy releas bearing in the twin plate in the skyline. So the question is those who have gone for the cg motorsports paddle, how much should I be paying and can it only be fitted by them? Cheers Dan

I've recently had an oil change with lube techs recommended oil, but I have part of a 0w30 1l top up from Honda left, I was wondering whether it was safe to use this still as a topup?

I just tried this but tried it with tesco supermarket fuel as I know it runs rougher on that than VPD, however its noticeably quieter and seems to be smoother under acceleration, I was a tad nervous about doing it but it seems to be having a positive effect.

Well it turned out access wasn't the issue more the fact that the sump bolt seems to have been torqued with a breaker bar so onto a ramp on tuesday to use some better tools to loosen it.

Is it essential to jack the car up to do the oil change or can it be done on the ground, or in my case near to a dropping kerb and yes its a hell of a drop it keeps trying to rip my other toys splitter off. Cheers Dan

Thanks again I will have a good look through the threads just acquired the wrench adapter and oil filter, so just waiting for my 25 litre oil drum to arrive and its on........ You may have a point about the front an ramps though will probably use my trolley jack and some axle stands.
