    Being adament about changing these parts, i managed to learn through with guides and replaced the discs and pads. I will never look back. The guide was great! Was just a bit stiff as i have rusty parts now. In the end i got the belts fitted for just £20 and yes it has sorted the problem!! :D...

    It is abit much: Drop links f and r Anti roll bar bushes f and r Brake disc and pad change ( im not sure how to bleed the system). I am stating what i am planning to replace however i understand it is a long job and dont want to waste your time lol

    After asking my regular garage he has quoted £40 for fitting both belts on. Worth its price? Or should i actually plan on getting this done by someone who has done similair things? (Just scared of the cowboy jobs) lool

    So tony after discussing what belts to buy, i should get the power steering pump belt and alternator belt? I think ill get it off the gates brand as they come a good price :) Can anyone mention how much labour wouldbe roughly IF i decided to take it to a garage to fit both belts? Thanks

    Hey tony. I am unsure because i hear some atr have aircon and some dont. I have the aircon switch in the car but i think its dead atm lool i never use it. Hope that helps.

    So just to confirm. What tony suggested was change fan aka aux belt. In this car - honda accord type r, a fan belt will be the power steering pump to purchase yes? I hear another name for it called a serpentine belt? Thanks for the knowledge guys :)

    My mate did mention fan belt however so it does see like im getting the right answer from people. I will order a fan belt very soon! However as im not much of a mechanic ( i tend to watch people complete jobs before i start myself ) how much would labour cost for a garage to fit the belt? Thanks...

    Tony u really do sound confident that it is that belt! The power steerig belt is also known as Aux belt? If thas the case i will purchase one asap! 10 mins to fit? Well as long as it isnt difficult or doesnt cost too much ide love to skip on forking a load of money for labour :)

    happened again today but only this time it was a 2 second noise. Steering the wheel can make different noises and tones also. the sound is coming from right where the belt is if you put your head right near it lol. Havn't checked the power steering fluid yet but a simply topup can prevent this...
