I can usually do 300 miles on a tank. Sometimes more if doing more motorway miles.

Full tank to red light coming on I'm doing 300 miles this is A B roads and town driving. On the motorway I was able to get 400 miles till red light.

Mine does the same now and again. When it does, I need to turn off the engine for the window to close. Probably there is too much friction between window and rubber seal. I'll try Silicone spray myself.

I've used Redex injector cleaner a few weeks ago as suggested above, and I've also started using Tesco's momentum 99 petrol. The problem hasn't reappeared so far.

Must admit, the white vapour looks really good coming out of accord's twin exhaust :D

Just had a service at Honda. They had a look at the issue read the codes, but could not tell me more than I already know (P0171). They don't think it's the O2 sensor, and said that changing the spark plugs might help, so now I'll wait and see if the issue reappears. I still think it might be...

Mine does the same thing, it has 112k, it only does it when it's very humid outside, in first and second gear when pulling off on a hill.

The guys in US have the same problem. P2138 error, limp mode, check engine and vsa light on. Issue solved with app sensor replacement.

I'll probably be getting this soon, as honda quoted aprox £400 for a O2 sensor replacement.

Anyone else received a letter from honda regarding this? I've just been asked to book an appointment with the dealer, to check the airbag. If there is an issue, the airbag inflator needs to be replaced. Issue can appear on any Accord, Civic, Stream, Jazz and CR-V from 2001-2003.

What mileage is your accord?

I was driving in a queue this morning, coming to work and can confirm that the car is a lot smoother than before. Driving in 1st and second gear is easier now.

My 2.4 type s does about 300 till the light comes on. That is 11miles to work and back, A and b roads, the rest is town driving. If I do mostly motorways i get to 350-370 miles. If I do only motorway I get 400 miles. Really pleased with that as I'm using the v-tec offten.
