Hi folks My 02 VTEC 1.8 Sport is now giving me a problem with the boot lock. Since i bought it ive never been able to use the lock on the boot itself so always used the handle in the drivers footwell. This was fine until my brainless brother decided to ' see what the lock was for ' on the boot...

Sorry it took so long to reply exec. The original quoted price all in was £350 but because the part they got delivered was broken and my days off meant i had to wait another week it was discounted down to £234.

Yeah Exec its in today at Honda getting replaced.

Turns out the problem with mine was the pipe to the steering rack being corroded and leaking.

Cheers for the help guys. Do i need a certain type of fluid? Haven't got my manual in the car :(

My 02 plate just started doing this too. Being mechanically dumb doesnt help me in the slightest either.
