    Electric Aerial Unit Needed

Hi All, So my dad has managed a good trick and turned the radio on while inside a car wash (slow claps all round). As you can imagine it did a number on the antenna and sanpped it. I had a spare knocking around but it seems where the old one has broken it's damaged the plastic sleeve inside the...

    Discreet Dash Cam Install

The main body of the camera is held on with some double sided tape. The lens module was stuck to a thin piece of plastic then to the arm of the mirror to keep it suitably flat. What made things especially easy is that the mirror just slides upwards off the mount for when I wanted to take the...

    Discreet Dash Cam Install

Just having a dig through on my PC and came across pictures of how I had my dash cam fitted in my Accord (hope it's found a good home) I used a Mobius camera with a wide andgle lens and lens extension kit. Power was supplied by a Nextbase hard wire kit. It was nigh on impossible to see...

GROM Audio BT3 Unit for sale

Hi Saj, I've just got a Parrot 9200 kit for in the new car (2008 Kia Cee'd). Not impressed with the specs of it when it comes to audio streaming/auxin use as it uses its own 20w amp if you can't wire up the line inputs. Will have to see how it works out when I fit it. The GROM was a great...

New would be £139.97 including postage from the manufacturer. Somewhere in the region of £110 and I'll send it by an insured service as soon as I can. I'm just about to list it on eBay too but I'll hold off if you're interested.

    6th Gen Era Brochures

Hi, As I was sorting out the mass of documentation I have for the Honda to go to it's new home I found I have a set of sales brochures for the car. I have an Accord borchure, Honda Range (circa 2000), Accord Safety brochure, and a Price list (again circa 2000) If anyone's interested in them...

GROM Audio BT3 Unit for sale

Here's a picture of the kit freshly removed from the car today: I can't seem to find what I've done with the instruction booklet but if found it will be supplied. It can be found on the GROM website here: https://carputer-shop.co.uk/media/wysiwyg/grompdfs/instr_bt3.pdf

GROM Audio BT3 Unit for sale

Hi Everyone, Been a while since I've been on here much but today I'm soon to chop in my old workhorse 2.0 Exec for a 2008 Kia. So until I pick it up it'll be a case of carefully removing the bits and pieces I've added while I had it. If anyone's interested I'm taking out a GROM Audio BT3 kit...

    ABS and SRS light on

Might be a bit late but have you looked in the passenger footwell where the carpet meets the centre console trim. The OBD port is there on my 2000 2.0 and my Dad's 1998 2.0. Unless the 1.8's were different just to be awkward.

    Type v

As far as I know either both seats are heated or not. Don't recall an option for only the driver's seat to be heated. On my Exec both buttons are in front of the arm rest and on my dad's SE they're towards the back of the centre console if that helps.

    1.8 starter motor

I had to get mine done a little while back. Didn't do it myself but it's very easy to get to on these as it's near the top of the block on the left hand side. Generally, disconnect the battery and give everything a few minutes to fully discharge. Undo the electrical connections to the starter...

What 6th gens have people got post em up

Considering I get to drive everything and anything at work a lot of people are amazed that most of us there have no desire for newer cars. One guy I worked with was bragging about having a brand new Nissan Juke (1.6 base model) and that my 'old heap' wasn't anywhere as good. Then he struggled to...

What 6th gens have people got post em up

This is my trusty chariot. A 2000 2.0 Auto Executive in Pirate's Black (looks a lovely shade of purple in bright sunlight). Lovely cars they really are. Always makes me laugh when people ***ume they're a bit boring and bland until they drive one or get left behind by one :-)

Blueprint is fine. Got one on mine. Might as well chuck a new rotor arm on while you're at it just for good measure.

I do believe so being that the engines are the same albeit enlarged capacity for the 2.0 Blue Print live seems to agree also, with just a change in the rotor arm post 2001 on the 2.0

    Introduction

Hello and Welcome. These cars often take first timers by surprise. Often seen as an old man's shopping cart people soon change their mind once they've been in one and seen how the drive. Excellent fun on a nice bit of country road. I can't remember the prices off the top of my head but if you...
