Hello,

My clutch is about to go and I have looked on internet for a new clutch kits in the most common websites(misterauto, eurocarparts and others) and I was looking at prices between 200 and 300 pounds. However in most cases the brands were not that famous(or atleast I don't know them). The brands which I have looked where: LUK(i know that one and is not very good as far as I know) National and ACdelco which was the most expensive at 324 pounds and I have never heard off. I would appreciate if you can give me any information of what brands to look at and where. Also if somebody can remember what they have paid for the replacement procedure. Many thanks!

My clutch is also about to go. Advice on what brand to use, I found a brand called Valeo, any experience with this brand and clutches?

Hi, am new to this forum, but I drive 2006 Type s 2.4 MT. Mine is slipping a bit. Looking for replacement. These comes as OEM: LUK, AISIN, EXEDY STAGE1., VALEO. These will be in the same price range. More powerful will be Clutchmasters FX series.

I've had not so good experience with non-original clutch kits for my other car (Peugeot 306), and I personally recommend using OEM (Original Honda). You could check the prices at http://www.coxmotorparts.co.uk/, for example (no commercial or advertising, just some good prices). I think the clutch kit for both 2.0 and 2.4 is the same, they are different part numbers, though.

cheers
Alex
