I noticed abnormal oil consumption 1liter per 2000km and there is lot of fresh oil in boost pipe so i decided to change the Turbo core CHRA but i was wondering what are the values(inhg) for the turbo when setting up the actuator leaver for the VNT?
I just checked mine (current old turbo) and the VNT leaver comes to the stop at the 10inhg. When searching online it says from 3inhg it should start moving and stop at 18inhg Garrett Turbos.
Is this how the Honda does?
Also when i check vacuum from boost solenoid to the VNT actuator it goes up to 15inhg but on the vacuum pump or IMRC there is 27-28inhg.
Should i set my new turbo to close at the 18inhg? Will it damage it because boost solenoid is holding Vac at 15inhg. i tested with 2 solenoids both are at 15inhg (out)
