2.4 Exec Clock Spring/ Squib

Hi all,

I have a fault with my 2.4 Exec saloon where the steering controls inc horn are not working - I summise it to be the clock spring in the first instance, when I removed the steering wheel I wrote down what I thought was the part # (the *FZ..........* code) but when trying to source a part I was told that this wasn't the part number.

I have since got into contact with Honda themselves who have quoted the clock spring part number as being 77900SEAE01 at a cost of £513 +VAT for part and £690.54 inc VAT and fitting!!!

My question is does anyone know where to locate the part number on this so that I can double check when looking in breaker's yards etc.

when you've found the relevant page you'll find their part numbers all start with "PFKL" which is not a Honda part number, so take the URL, look for "_pfk" and remove it from the URL, then re-try the page without "_pfk" and the part numbers are now generic Honda
