I need to change the discs and pads on the front of my 02 Accord Sport.

I've seen the write up on the 7th Gen discs and pad change and was wondering if there are any major differences between the two?

its a pretty straight forward job mate if you are handy with routine maintenance. The front pistons just require pushing back into the caliper. The rear ones will need a rewind tool. Remember to clean all surfaces as much as you can with a wire brush. Failure to do so may cause issues later on. Its also a good idea to lube the caliper sliding bolts with red rubber grease - dont use copper grease - it will screw the rubbers up. Also check the fluid is in good condition and watch out for overspill in the resevoir as you push the caliper back

I'm learning my way around cars at the moment but it seemed like a job I could easily do myself and save some money on the labour.

In regards to the discs and pads, I was going to go for stock from my local motor factors unless there is a better suggestion?

You might consider using "stock" EBC, I guess they are as good as Honda ones and a bit cheaper...

Don´t forget the cooper grease or anti-seizing grease, saw some horror stuff because of omitting that!

I don´t know you guy´s about that but i use to put some blueprint plain discs with good pads...that´s the way i always did in previous cars.

Check out some kit´s on ebay also, some of them come with ebc discs and/or pads! Great deals!
