2002 windscreen rubber replacement

Hi,
I have a Mk7 Accord but my sister has a 2002 Accord Sport. The windscreen rubber on her car seems to have shrunk in the upper left and right corners and therefore peeled away from the groove that it sits in. I'm thinking the existing rubber is too distorted to use again, but I wonder if anyone has any experience and/or tips about replacing this rubber, which runs around the outside of the windscreen?

Are you referring to runner that the window runs up and down on ?

No, I'm referring to the rubber trim that surrounds the windscreen on the outside of the vehicle.

It might be a very simple job ... remove the old one, clean out the recess, push in the new 'moulding'..
... but I thought to ask if anyone has experience of doing this?

I believe you can remove without removal of windscreen
