650 rpm in Honda accord 2003 2.0 petrol

Hi Everyone

My father got a problem with he's Honda accord on hot engine when car is stopped he's got 650rpm and car is shaking .
Is it normal? I think he hasn't got right rpm ,should have around 820rpm.
Please can any one give me advice.

650rpm on idle is not far off tbh. I don't think they can be adjusted manually. Could be a dirty Idle air control valve

He called to Honda dealer,they said something similar'they can't adjust it manually.
I will check that air valve .

Yep, what TypeR said, check the IACV for dirty, give it a clean, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and complete the engine learning cycle.

I red on the other forums that rpm should be around 800, but some people saying 600-650rpm.
Someone recommended to drive car on the high way on 3 gear around 6000rpm for a while and then try it.
Most people recommended to clean that air valve. What is the proper rpm value ? 650 or 800. I got diesel and it it 820rpm
