Hi everyone a newbie here, I have a 7th-gen diesel accord for a few weeks (private sale) and now problems appear... and urgently need someone's advice, please.
With both the ABS/VSC lights have been constantly on for a week now, and engine light keeps coming on occasionally only when gently cruising on ANY gears without much throttle, and the car will stall (throttle doesn't respond after light is on). However if I keep accelerating with more blip on the throttle I can keep driving without causing the engine light on.
Plug an obd2 reader and it shows P1248 + P2138, clear code and it will come back on after driving a while GENTLY.
I have a good clean to the TPS but problems remain. I am incompetent of electrics so haven't done any check to confirm if TPS is indeed gone.
I have a bad feeling it's going to cost a lot of money to fix... anyone could offer some advice? Does this sound like bad TPS?
Re the ABS/VSA not sure if only ABS sensor or both ABS/VSA need repairing... also anyone can suggest a good garage in Milton Keynes will be great.
