after market I.C.E (amp sub) 8TH GEN

Hello all,
Has anyone fitted any after market door speakers in thier 8th gen which are amped up ?

What i mean is,
An amp fitted to the standard head unit which is powering the door speakers. Baring in mind i have the EX-GT so have all the sat nav and voice activation etc in there so cant really change my head unit.

Im looking to power my focal compnents via my alpine v12 amp.

I think the real question is does the accord head unit behave in the same manner as the civic, the civic used to go into safe mode and cut off the sound output when an amp was linked to it.

Crazydee: Yes i have a http://www.audiotec-fischer.de/lng/en/pp-82dsp.html fitted under the dash. Audison Voce speakers in all doors. A Steg K 204 amplifier hidden under the floor behind the seats - its connected to two 10 inch Hertz SPL show subs mounted in a closed enclosure @ the hidden floor space.

The PP-82DSP is connected with highlevel inputs to the normal HU - thats the one without all the fancy stuff but i recon there should not be any difference.
