Aircon Problems

Hi all
So had my 8th gen accord diesel 3 month now, getting it put right while still in warrenty. Got its aircon regassed as wasnt cold, took it to a aircon specialist who diagnosed a faulty compressor. Wanted a forrtune to fix it, so got the work done at a local rac approved garage (i have rac warrenty) anyway. New compressor straight from honda fitted, still no cold air. Garage said they didnt have time to check it over propally, and are not a aircon specialist either, but did mention the low pressure side of the system was dropping too low, but high pressure side is ok. Any one shed any light on this? Obveously im taking it back to the so called specialist. As they have charged me for a massive misdiagnosis...

Does it hold a vacuum? Does the compressor actually kick in?

Said the compressor is starting. Not sure if it holds vacume

so theres no leak... garage hasnt fully diagnosed it yet, but going back in next week, said there is either a blockage on the low side, or there is a faulty condenser bypass valve or wireing to it. (I think he said) and its only hondas that use these valves apparently. Needs to take bumper off to get to it, said he had a 7th gen in last week which has this problem, just needed wiring sorting out, but easier to get to on 7th gen he said
