S silverVTEC Members Messages 98 Reaction score 5 Location west midlands Car CG9 Nov 3, 2014 #2 I had this issue 3 days ago as mine packed up, simple way to test is remove a battery lead and if the car cuts out the alternator is dead, took 10 mins to change.
