Best place for parts?

Anyways on the the post, on the way home this evening, some idiot decided to take my wing mirror out and drive off!! ARGH

Thankfully it's only the glass that's broken and not the housing, does anyone have any recommendations as to where to buy some new glass. It's for a 2002 Accord SE Exec hatchback. Also I need a boot as well, managed to put a massive dent in mine right on the curve of the boot and it's taken all the paint off to the metal! :-(

Halfrauds for the glass if you need it quick, otherwise a scrappy.

A scrappy for the boot too - I don't know how easy they are to remove though

Cheers Aces, unfortunately I'm rather short of breakers yards around me, my main one got turned into a housing estate!!

What about any decent Ebay suppliers??

Genuine Honda glass is only about £18-£20.

halfords did mine for £9.99 and a changed it in the carpark lol

the boot is held on by two hinges at the top, a water pipe for back window and there is wiring for boot eletrics

the plug is on the inside under the roof lining, disconect this then remove the carside rubber gromet pull the plug through.

there is a pipe joiner on the boot side pull out the gromet (boot side) diconnect this.

undo both by removing the 4x 10mm or 13mm nuts on the hingies then remove.

BUT i think you would be far better off taking you boot to the body shop and getting them to work there magic prob work out the same cost and a lot less hassel!!

If you have no luck with a scrappy for the boot lid from Lings Honda you are looking at just under £300
