Blowing bulbs

Hello from a noob! I have an exec tourer and recently I've been going through headlight bulbs like mad, around every 2 months...any ideas of the cause/remedy? Thanks in advance.

crap brand.?
solve it completely by fitting a HID kit.

\thats right, crappy brand. Some time ago i replaced my right one with noname brand. It was dead after 1k. two more tries later and \i invested in proper bulbs, and guess what problem dissapeared. Just get a good brand and you will be ok.

Exacly, I got philips now and havent repalced it for good 8k.

it's best to use the same bulb brand/type for both the lights also.

Change them for quality standard bulbs, both sides and take from there.

My rear ones keep going o/s you know the little 501 bulbs on the inner side, I see loads of accords with that side gone. Should just go LED

I have the same prob now with my rear lights aswell. front sorted with HID and new fuse. Back iv tried converting all to LED but two have blown already both o/s number plate light and side light.
