Bluetooth not working... Any ideas?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum as I have just bought a 2006 accord 2.4 petrol executive. The car is absolutely mint, with one owner 29,000 miles. Everything works except the Bluetooth, I have tried disconnecting the battery, but no luck. Basically when I press the phone button on the streering wheel I get not bleep and no voice.
Now once by fluke I press the phone button on the steering wheel whilst driving and I got the bleep, then I heard a voice in German. But once I had arrived to my destination and tried the button again i had nothing.

So could it be the HFT BLUETOOTH unit in the dash? Any ideas please would be great.

Hi, have established that it's not the HFT unit as I gave tried it in another accord. The really weird things is that the 150 odd times I have press the phone button on the stearing wheel, twice i have had the confirmation beep and the ladies voice.
Has anyone had this experience before?
Whats left to test ? the wiring and the buttons on the wheel?
