As the ***le says, I bought 7440/7443 from warden_jp but Red coloured brake lights are not dimmer or brighter. They are always at same level of brightness. Maybe I should have specified for what purposes I was going to use the bulb. I think that they are single filament and not dimming when brake pedal is not pressed. Any ideas ? I didn't put any resistors on them.

Try putting them in the other way round if you no what i mean.As for resistors you only need them for indicater lights.
By turning them i mean 180 degrees

Brett, I know that LED stands for Light Emitting Diode in other words polarity is important. I tried them reversing they won't light on. I then put them right way they light on but they won't dim, always full bright  Interesting fact is I bought one of those giant resistors from warden_jp and tried without connecting them and rear indicators would work beautifully, they just aren't that bright in day light so I removed them and put normal ones. I think I'll need to buy new ones with dual filament. I hope i can at least use these as 3rd brake and rear fog as they are the same as the brake lights.

Then you might have the wrong lamps for the job.Zoran can you post up a couple of photos please to have a look at the lamps you brought.

Sure mate, I'm night shift and nobody around to help me pump the brake pedal :) I'll post some photos tomorrow in bright day light. The one I bought was:

2pcs 7440 7443 30 SMD LED Wedge bulbs, I bought RED and AMBER. Amber works without resistors and in sync with all.. However they are not very bright so as I told I replaced them with original ones.

These are the ones I'm looking at, I ***ume they're the same?

Description says: "All LEDs light up at both Brake and Tail mode, which the brake mode is of course brighter."

Ooh, put the bulb in the wrong way so it doesn't work, but see if it lights up when you press the brakes! It could be a CK type bulb, see here.

Try as I suggest? I still am unclear on the standard vs CK type 7443 bulbs - I'm ***uming the Accord uses standard fitment (both grounds on the 2 wires that nearly touch, then the other 'end' of the wedge is the two 12V wires), the CK type has one ground and one 12V on each 'end' of the wedge - so in a standard fitment plug only one of the two inputs would ever be able to be activated whichever way you plugged it in.
