'Buzzing' noise from dash and vibration from bonnet

Test drove a lovely looking black ES GT Idtec earlier from a main dealer. Nice car overall but two issues I noticed. Bonnet seemed to vibrate ever so slightly when driving and every so often there was a minor but noticeable 'buzz' from the dash every so often. Has anyone else had this issue in their diesel 8th gen? To be honest I loved the look of this car but wouldn't buy a car that had any interior noise issues.

Will be driving a couple more and see how they compare.

Managed to have my question answered by test driving 2 more today. No buzzes or rattles. No bonnet vibrating. Must have been in a prang. Jog along......

The 8th gen bonnet does vibrate slightly at the back edge by the windscreen. Sometimes this is because the rubber seal isn't sitting against it properly.

Diesels do vibrate more generally, so that would exacerbate it.

Make sure you drive a 2.0 petrol auto also, I'm really happy with mine. Its refined, quiet, and when you get the revs up it shifts well. Average 32mpg extra urban, and up to 40mpg on the motorway, and no diesel problems.

I guess it could have the usual easy options to free up maybe another 10bhp, cold air intake, sports exhaust etc.

Its 156Bhp as standard.

Probably could be remapped also, anyone know?
